Real Weddings: Vivian & James – Stunning Simplicity
Vivian and James have more than just a few things in common. What stands out about this perfectly matched couple is that they are both in medical school, they have a fierce love for life and they LOVE to laugh! Having so much in common made planning their wedding a breeze and seriously fun. There is no doubt that their selection of holding their timeless ceremony at The Bradford in New Hill was the ideal choice. With weather you could only pray for, Vivian and James exchanged vows under a breathtakingly simple and stylish pergola, covered with white linen, fresh greenery and gorgeous cream and white blooms.
Vivian wore a striking gown with a deep V neckline and modest open back. With a subtly embellished bodice and flowy elongated skirt, she looked as if she had just stepped out of a magazine. James donned a traditional black tux and bow tie, pairing beautifully with Vivian’s ensemble. Her bouquet was created with lush and bright greenery that tied in perfectly with the rest of the wedding decor.
Following the ceremony, the reception was also held outdoors under strung lights and candle lined tables. Crystal stemware and an array of whites and muted grays with a spray of overlapping greenery complemented the settings to a tee. The head table was set with the couples chosen Bible verse which hung in the trees behind them and expressed what love meant to the newlyweds.
The cake kept with the decor’s theme of white hues paired with greenery that popped! A three tiered sugary work of art was encompassed by homemade key lime pies, made by the groom’s grandmother. After hours of food, fun, dessert and dancing, the couple made their unforgettable exit to a spray of sparklers, surrounded by friends and family, the ecstatic couple took their first steps into happily ever after.
