The long driveway transports you from a country road to old world ambiance. Manor at Carriage Farm, a wedding venue and event space in Raleigh, NC, has a distinct European style that emanates from the sturdy stone and brick construction and notably classic design.
Construction of this remarkable property was completed in 2003. It features over 8,000 square feet of exquisite decor and sprawling acreage for private occasions. Located slightly south of downtown Raleigh, Manor at Carriage Farm welcomes wedding venue guests with its remarkable presence. Guests are greeted by grand stone columns capped by carriage lamps on scroll mounts. The lamps are seen throughout the grounds — the trademark of this remarkable property. Along the drive, catch a glimpse of the horses that call Carriage Farm their home or maybe spot a heron wading in the pond.
Upon entering the home, the hardwood floors and decorative inlay highlight its warmth. Grand chandeliers that echo the style of the Manor are featured throughout. Nearby is a formal room that can as easily accommodate small cocktail receptions as well as host casual conversations. A formal dining room makes a lovely space for gifts as guests arrive or a perfect spot for a small luncheon or tea.
In Spring 2017, Manor at Carriage Farm will feature a new 10,000-square-foot Pavilion, with wood beams stretching to a 30-foot gambrel roof. The Pavilion comes complete with indoor restrooms and catering kitchen, space for cocktail hours, and a place for the bride and groom to prepare. The Pavilion’s open-air reception area can accommodate 50 to 350 seated guests and a dance floor.
The property was designed and built by a native North Carolina family deeply rooted in their community. The family takes great pride in knowing that their home is the setting for memories of a lifetime.
