Could there be anything more beautiful than proclaiming your love for someone on a mountaintop? This, is what wedding dreams are made of! Amanda and Eric did just that on a breathtaking spring day, surrounded by family, friends and some of the most gorgeous florals and wedding day decor we’ve ever laid our eyes on.
Fresh cascading wildflowers were the eye catching focal point of the ceremonial trellis, with the Blue Ridge Mountains as a back drop. Amanda opted for a flowy, toile topped gown, with her bridesmaids in lilac dresses. The groom in a medium gray suit and his groomsmen in lighter gray suits, each with purple vests and eclectic blue and purple feathered bow ties. It all worked so well together, tying in the floral arrangements beautifully!
The rustic reception was just as jaw dropping as the chalet, dripping with oversized crystal chandeliers and draped cream linens, combined elegance with a comfortable cabin feel perfectly. Candles and lights highlighted the lilac and aqua settings and each detail, right down to the cake topper, was made to tie in with the mountaintop experience. The three-tiered, white buttercream cake was clean frosted with fresh wildflowers and placed a top a wooden setting. Dining, dancing and dessert were the order of the evening as everything from lemon squares to mini cupcakes encompassed the wedding cake for guests to enjoy. The evening ended with an outdoor sparkler send off, lighting up the mountain as Amanda and Eric bid farewell to the single life.
