There’s nothing quite like a wedding with a gorgeous view! This seaside wedding at the Sandlering Resort in the Outer Banks combined the beauty of the beach, fresh succulents and natural wood accents to create a picture-perfect day.
The couple let the beauty of the setting speak for itself, dressing it up with bountiful light blooms and swags of fresh greenery. Bright yellow and white petals framed the aisle while a tall archway bursting with white blooms and greenery stood behind the couple as they said their “I do’s.”
The bride looked ethereal in an embellished ballgown with cascading tulle skirt. Her bridesmaids kept with the natural, oceanic theme in turquoise dresses with bouquets filled with pastel succulents, similar to the bride’s. The groom also incorporated succulents in his boutonniere, which stood out nicely against his black tux.
The reception is where the couple’s vision truly came to life. Intricate arrangements of fresh eucalyptus and colorful succulents sat atop tables in natural wooden planter boxes, capturing the festivity’s free-spirited feel. A hanging display of light blooms, magnolia leaves and greenery added a nice rustic edge to the decor. The string of market lights overheard were hardly needed as sunlight poured in from all directions!
Guests enjoyed a four-tiered cake adorned with fresh green, yellow and burgundy succulents before hitting the dance floor to celebrate the newlyweds. As the sun set over the ocean outside, the celebration came to a close. Congratulations to the Garbers!
