Reviews for Shady Wagon Farm Outdoor Wedding Receptions in Raleigh Durham & Chapel Hill
“I had a Fall wedding at Shady Wagon Farm. It was exquisite. The leaves were changing in addition to the already beautiful scenery. The ceremony took place near the pond and the reception was (walking distance) up at the barn and pavilion. This venue is perfect for weddings for 200 guests or less. There is an old country store on site that is perfect for pictures and also for guests to mill around before the ceremony. The whole place is lined with lights at night which looks great for exit pictures. The barn and pavilion are decorated with rustic/antique items so there is little you will need to add. There is also a place on site for both the groomsmen and bridesmaids to get ready. Which is great for making sure everyone is there and dressed on time!
Cindy, the owner, is so sweet. She answered all of my questions/concerns throughout my planning process.
A big money saver for us was that Shady Wagon allowed us to bring our own alcohol, with no corking fees or extra taxes.
The website pictures don’t do this place justice. If you are having a wedding in the Wake County area, I highly recommend you take a look at this place.” –
